BACKGROUND:

22 cars and drivers per race. 11 Constructors (2 cars each)

Season - March (Australia) - October (Japan)

17 races per season

Races are on Sundays. Qualifying is on Saturdays

First 8 drivers to finish earn Championship points (10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1)

ENTERING PREDICTIONS:

There are 10 elements needing predicting, and there are 2 prediction deadlines:

Qualifying: (Takes part on Saturday afternoon, local time).

Predict which drivers will occupy the front-row of the grid (2 positions). Deadline 12.00 noon (Local time of race) on Saturday.

Race: (Takes place Sunday afternoon, local time).

Predict which drivers will finish in the first 8 in the race, thereby earning championship points. Deadline 12.00 noon (Local time of race) on Sunday.

Enter the car number, not the driver's name. (The number on the car stays with the driver for the whole season). If a driver is replaced for any reason at late notice, your predictions logged will still be valid for the new driver. Likewise if a car is replaced, points will still awarded for the replacement car. You do not need to change your predictions, if you do not want to, or indeed, don't have time.

QUALIFYING Scoring system (predict the front-row of the Starting grid)

1 point for driver on front row, but in wrong place on grid.

3 points for a perfect prediction (ie: driver placed in correct starting position on grid).

There are a maximum of 6 points available in qualifying.

RACE Scoring system: (Highest points score ONLY for a car/driver counts)

1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th
Exact Placing correctly predicted 10 8 6 5 4 3 2 1
Correctly predicted podium finish (1st-3rd) 5 5 5
Driver finishes in the points 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1
